When you order a boat sign from me, you always receive a digital design proposal to approve before I put the cutter into the wood. I offer:

The text can be left natural or painted in black or white for maximum contrast.
Protection: To withstand salt water and sun, the signs are varnished with Epifanes boat varnish in several layers.
This provides deep protection and a beautiful shine that lasts for many years.
Care instructions for varnished wooden signs To ensure your sign stays looking good season after season, we recommend:
Rinse off salt water with fresh water regularly. Keep an eye on the paint surface; if it becomes dull or cracks, it should be sanded lightly and given a new coat of Epifanes to prevent moisture from penetrating the wood. Please store the sign indoors during the winter if the boat is unmasted. We are careful about the environment and only purchase wood from EU-approved suppliers who guarantee responsible forestry.
Surface Treatment & DurabilityAs standard, the signs are delivered treated with high-quality teak oil or Odie's oil, which highlights the wood's natural luster.

We offer painting with Epifanes boat paint in 4 layers for maximum shine and protection against salt water and sun.
Please note that painting extends the delivery time slightly as each layer needs to dry properly for a perfect result.

When you place your order at alberi.se, we begin the dialogue. We recommend our selected fonts for best readability in relief, but we are always open to your own ideas to make your sign a true masterpiece.
