Purpleheart shows its natural colors, which means that when you cut down the trees, they look like in the pictures. The tray is sanded up to 400 grit paper which makes it very smooth and pleasant to hold, treated with odie's oil and odie's wax for perfect shine and durability.
The cutting board has chamfered edges all around to 45 degrees both above and below with drainage grooves.
